It is a privilege to be able to exhibit in a large non juried member quilt show like the annual Sydney Quilt Show. It is held in the ICC Sydney, Darling Harbour and is presented in conjunction with the Craft & Quilt Fair promoted by Expertise Events, BERNINA Australia and other generous sponsors. I can genuinely say I over the years haven’t missed many and I am always inspired by all of the quilts on show, from the juniors to the professional entries.
Many of our members are working on their own entries and we are also working on an entry for the group quilt. Putting in an entry gives you a deadline to work toward to complete your quilt. This in turn can stretch your creativity and grow you as a quiltmaker. You don’t have to be amazing to enter, just have some courage. So, go on BE BRAVE and think about what you may contribute this year or forward think to next year and start planning your entry for 2021.
